6th November

A huge day in history

5th November

My first proper christmas presents. Well it's one present and I've got some sweets for my Mum's advent calender. I got wethers, opal fruits, chewits and starbursts and there are more than 31 sweets so I might even get a couple of them!

4th November

I went shopping on my own to have a proper look around the shops for Christmas ideas. I spent 6 hours out, bought quite a few things, carried the heaviest of bags (my back and legs killed the next day) But one thing I did buy was a pedometer, which i'm not sure if it will actually work because it wasn't expensive but we'll see :]

3rd November

Watching Lewis Hamiltons final race which he needed to get a certain amount of points to win the title (it was more complicated than that but I can't explain it!) It was such a tense race, and he won it on the last corner on the last lap!! My heart was pumping! But i'm so happy for him :D

2nd November

The last of the pet photos! I haven't taken them for a while though so i'm making up for lost time :]

1st November

I haven't taken a photo of pickle for ages but he runs around like mental so it's tough. He was still for a few seconds and I managed to get one photo :] He's so sweet, and adorable.

31st October

I celebrated Halloween by purchasing a yoga mat, heh! Not for Yoga but when I do exercises on the floor, I get carpet burns so hopefully this will stop that from happening :]

30th October

Black and white kit kat. Giving me some evils from the bed!.

29th October

New book. I like this author so i'm looking forward to reading this book, i'm already a few chapters in and I think i'm going to enjoy it :] She has a couple of other books that I will keep a look out for.

26th October

This should have been done a few days ago but I forgot it! Cheesy straws and fruity scones! I love cheese straws, but they have to be eaten when warm and just out the oven, same with scones actually because then the butter melts.. yum!

28th October

More food :D Butternut squash chips are so tasty. All you do is slice the BNS into chip shapes, put some fry lite spray in the pan and fry them on each side until they go softer and a bit golden. They don't taste like chip chips, but they are nicer. Not greasy, a little more sweeter and just lovely. I had them with chicken and salad, and celery which i've hated all my life, but i've become a little addicted to it especially with cottage herb cheese or salad cream and chicken stock granules!

27th October

Another amazing louise stir fry. Oh I want to eat it right now!

25th October

When I went to the Black Park place and up on the hills the other week, I took both cameras because I don't have a zoom lens on my 400D. I said I would like to get one for Christmas and I thought to get the one I really would like, the one in the photo, it would be too expensive.

I thought about putting my other little camera on ebay, which would mean it would give me the extra money to buy the good lens, but instead (hopefully) my mum and dad will be buying the other little canon because they use it for parties, family... and they wouldn't be able to use the big 400d one. So in that way, they get a camera they know how to use, they don't have to buy another one which would be as good (the little canon is amazing) and I get to buy the lens I've fallen in love with - the Canon 55 - 250mm IS. It has Image Stabilisation of which has such wonderful reviews.

Fingers crossed Santa is nice to me this year.

24th October

Some more flowers, I like the details on this photo :]

23rd October

A little make up bag that I got in Marks and Sparks (the outlet store is amazing, all M&S stuff but a little cheaper than it is normally) This was 3.5o from 5pounds and I was going to get my mum to put it away for Christmas but then I just bought it for now. It's now housing my lipglosses and balms. (Plus I love the fact its stripey, I love anything stripey)

22nd October

My zebra socks! I do own some fetching socks and these are my new additions. Lovely and warm too and they match my sheepy pjs, ok maybe not but I love them!

21st October

I've never made a stir fry of any sort (which is bad really seeing as I love cooking!) it always looked quite complicated.

But I bit the bullet, bought some bean sprouts, mix veg, and a sauce and I made the most amazing stir fry ever! It honestly tasted so much better than a meal from the chinese. It wasn't greasey and it was nice knowing exactly what was going into it.

It's definitely something i'm going to keep playing around with. I had chicken, but I want to try prawns, turkey, tofu and maybe even a special one with lots of different meats. And the even better thing was that it made enough for 2 so I had it 2 days running!

20th October

I've wanted to try pilates for a while, so saw a few books on ebay and decided to buy them. It seems like something that won't just be something to jump into, it takes some reading so you assume the right positions when doing the exercises but i'm going to give it a ago. I just need to keep at it and not give up!

This book is good though. I have another coming too, as I thought a couple would be good for reference.

19th October

Typical that I make cakes and then buy silicone cup cake holders the day after! I've wanted some of these for a while but they always seem to be expensive although they can be used over and over. But they had some in Lidls for 2.99 so I got some. I'll have to try them out soon!

18th October

I made some cakes for my mum and put jam in them and when I turned one over, there was a cute little heart shape. I thought it was very sweet :D

17th October

I quite like this photo, which is a change because i'm not too happy with any photos I do lately but ho hum, I'll keep practising! I'll make it a new years resolution :D

16th October

A cleo cat in her bed

15th October

I bought a square cake tin a little while back so if I ever did make a cake, it would be easier to decorate than allllways doing round cakes. So I made one, although I cut it in half and put one half on top of the other. It tasted rather lovely and the icing was made with icing sugar and lemo juice, which tasted amazing!

14th October

Evil big spider in the garden! I won't write too much about it because I don't want to have to look at it for longer than I need too (my dad took the photo!)

13th October

On Sunday, we went for a walk up the Northala fields which are these big hills that were built using the mud and rubble from the Euro Tunnel and Wembley Stadium. There are 4 of them, 3 you walk straight up and one you walk around it on the path.

It's pretty nice over there, there are big pools of water, ducks, parks for the kids and if it's a nice day, you can take some cool pictures up on the top of the hill (plus burn some calories walking up them!)

It was lovely and sunny again but I think I could get better pictures in spring, because it was quite hazy so i'll definitely go walking up there :]

12th October

A couple more from Black Park :]

11th October

We went to a place called Black Park, which we found out isn't too far from us and it's a place I wish I had found earlier because it's so so pretty there. It's like Osterley in the fact that it's a lake you can walk round but here you can walk all the way around the lake bit, and there are lots of paths, trees, seats. It was a beautiful sunny day which helped but I really want to go back another day seeing at it was a lot closer that we thought. It would be great to go there when it was snowy..

10th October

I've been reading Jodi Picoult 19 Minutes and like usual, when I start a book, I like to read it quickly in one go and then I find I don't read for another month. This book is ok, not amazing because it jumps from different time periods, like 6 months ago, then it goes to a week after and really, I just wanted to know what happened after. So I was glad to get to the end, but the end was good with a nice twist..

9th October

A cake birthday book I got from M&S (they had a sale online, plus it was 3 for 2 and then it was free delivery so it was reduced to a 1 pound from 6!

But I wouldn't have paid more than what I did for it because the cakes aren't exactly amazing, although it's quite sweet really because at least they can be achieved, not like some cake books i've seen where you could never imagine making what they show.

Not sure who would want a banana and popcorn top ccake though.. hmm...

8th October

We've had cleo for about 14years now and she did have a bed when we first got her but I don't know what ever happened to that.. Anyway we thought with it getting cold we would get her a proper bed (instead of her choosing to sleep on the tv) She loves it! She's rarely out of it and she looks so cute in it :]

7th October

Mmm louise loves this phone *strokes it*

6th October

My cat in a bag by the radiator and she insisted on sleeping curled up in there for ages. She's a little weirdo! Must take after me!

5th October

Cutey cute animal biscuits! They are a lot like rich tea biscuits but they are more flavoursome (that is a word) and very adorable so I had to buy some :D

4th October

More scones. I really want to make more than scones all the time but it's rubbish when you have fussy people who only like certain things! Hey ho. These are cheese, fruit and fruit and cinnamon1

3rd October

I've been so rubbish at updating this. Missing days here and there and I haven't updated this for a month! :/ But i'm trying to stick at it.

The photos are also a bit erk, so there's a warning before I get started on updating this.
