A bit of a sunset from tonight. We're supposed to get lots of sun next week for a change, going up to 28c, which i'm half and half happy about as it's nice to have some sun and it not be grey but heat + lou = moodyness.

18th July
Some philip philops. Bought from someone on a community and they are a little tight but I tried to sort that out by undoing the stitching a little. They smell of smoke so bad though, I wish people would say when they sell stuff and they smoke. They might be used to it or notice it, but it's sickening when it's on your clothes..

Some fruit and cheesy type scones & plain and fruit cupcakes I made for some family.. All look very tasty although I didn't get to try any of them. Boo ;(

Sent the cashback off for my lovely camera, so hopefully soon, they will be sending me some monies back. Should be about 45pounds if all goes well!

Pinky pink nail varnish, which at first glance I was a little unsure about (my mum bought it for me) but when on, it's like a hot pink colour which is what I've wanted to get for a long time, and it's one of the few nail varnishes which didn't come in the bath or while washing up after just a few hours of painting it on.
(Nail varnish literally peels off my nails in one go, no idea why)

This is about the best photo I could get of Pickle lately, he's been a bit shy and I haven't been able to take a good photo of him with the new camera. It's too big to put in the cage.

Just a birdie sitting on the grass, he just sat there for ages. He is a meanie though because he scares all the other birds out the garden.

1st July
Kitty cat cleo being cute.. although it's rare that she'll sleep on my bed or chair as she has taken to sleeping under my desk. Maybe it's cooler down there now it's starting to warm up?

Finally photos from the garden. I took a few hundred, I've actually taken nearly a thousand in the month of having the camera! The majority are just playing around with it, but still that's a crazy number..

From Sunday, with the kit lense. The sun was alittle better today and I felt I was learning more from yesterday so I like these ones :) It would have been great if the background in the last one wasn't black as then the bee would have shown up better, but you can't win them all. The kit lense was much better too, as it could get more up close, so I think that's better for outdoor photography and the 50mm for indoors

I played with my lovely camera in the garden over the weekend, there are lots of pretty flowers out there so these are a few that I took on Saturday with the 50mm lense.

Another lip gloss, I can't remember the name of it but it's lovely again. A little darker but very pretty on the lips. There is a more lilacy colour one too but I wasn't so keen on the look of that one :)

A better photo of my new lense. I love how the background goes blurry and the main thing is in focus, it's all about the depth of field (I'm slowly learning!)

Yummy lipgloss! Glmaour magazine had a deal where you could get free benefit lipgloss with their magazine in June. Three different shades but the magazines sold out super fast because the lipglosses are worth 13pounds each.
(Most ended up on ebay though, although funnily enough no one made money because so many people did it!)
I bought this from someone on TSUK, only paid the extra for postage and it's lovely, tastes like watermelon and looks very pretty on the lips.

I have a photo for today but it's on my phone and I can't find where I put the bluetooth dongle. It's around somewhere because I only used it a few days ago.

Curly Wurlys are awesome. Especially when you eat one and then another one! (Piggy Lou) It's wrong to eat them straight out of the fridge because they are hard and now chewy but if you leave them out too long, they go soft. It's an art trying to guess the right eatable time.

A new lense for my camera. It's good for indoor photos as the f1.8 lets in more light than a normal lense and makes the photo brighter (So I believe) I got it off ebay too with a Hoya filter which is good as Hoya are the best brand, and it has been very well looked after.
I thought it would be a good purchase as I'll probably be using my camera more indoors learning how to use it.. I didn't know whether to get that type or a zoom lense but maybe the zoom one can be a christmas present :)

I passed my child psychology course, with flying colours. I'm amazing, yes I am. Well at least I think so.

Aw this is so pretty. I got it from Accessorize with some vouchers I got for my birthday. It's more pretty than the photo gives it credit for!
Way to big though so I've had to do some DIY to shorten it, I love it :)
