I went to the hospital again on Monday. They did another ear test to see if my ears are worse (which they were because I have a cold) and the man pescribed this stuff which you squirt up your nose in the morning, and I have to do that for 6 weeks to see if it helps the crackling in my ears at all. I doubt it will though. I think it's just something i'll have to live with but at least I tried. I think if I didn't I would always wonder if it was something that needed fixing or could get worse. Maybe it is something though. We shall see! I have to go back on December the 1st to see if the medication worked.

And i'm finally all caught up on entries!!

Part of a top I got from the wonderful Primark on Tuesday, which cost a massive 6pounds (I love Primark!) It's pretty and should be good for the winter :)

Some candles for my Mum's cake! They relight when blown out which should be a laugh although I have no idea how you actually get them to blow out permanately!

Ooooh these are so yummy! Caramel flavoured sweets. My sister had some the other day and thiefed a strawberry and cream one, so I bought some of caramel ones when I was out, they are lovely. Pretty expensive for a bag of sweets though but they are suagr free and sugar free stuff is always more expensive for some reason..

Barry M nail varnishes and dazzle dusts which I bought on TSUK. Altogether they cost me 10pounds which is good as the nail varnishes retail at 2.95 and the dazzle dusts retail at 4.50 I believe so I got a bargain, even though the green one (The one I wanted the most) smashed in transit and covered everything! :( Pretty annoying and I emailed the girl because I was peeved a little (the items were wrapped in a plastic bag - very clever doing that with glass items which contain liquid) but she was an idiot so I couldn't be arsed with it. I got a bargain so it's fine.

A lemon cake for my Mum. Excuse the finger prints on the top though, doh! It's not lemon sponge, but the buttercream is. Tasted lovely and a good trial run for my my Mum's birthday cake, which i'll be making next month :)

28th August

I wanted some new weight and instead of buying individual dumbell weights, which you get used to pretty quickly, I bought a cast iron dumbell set from Tesco! It was only 20pounds and in totally it's 17kg in weight. There are 4x2kg, 4 x1kg, and 4x0.5kg so you can do loads of combinations. The bars weigh a little bit too so at the moment, i'm doing 3.75kg I think, when I was doing 2kg before so it's heavy but good fun!

This picture is so dark for some reason.. Anyway, fennel tea. Looks like pee but tastes quite nice, when you put a sweetner in it. I bought some green tea too but i'm not sure sure about that. I got the lemon and vanilla ones, but maybe I should have got the original one instead. It's weird tasting :/

My wasn't content with giving me a cold and sore throat, and I think I strained or pulled some muscles in my left shoulder, so this came in handy for a few days. Better than the bigger one we have in the house which is super heavy

A nana and chocolate muffin. Was a bit dry really but i'm sure there are recipes out there so this could turn out better. Needed more chocolate too. Mmm chocolate!

Ah these things became my friend for a few weeks as I had the longest cold throat (which started out as a sore throat) ever. 2 weeks of it! It was horrible, I think it lastest longer because I feel quite drained in general and it took longer to recover. I hate colds, my ears go horribly deaf and blocked up.

Not mine but my sisters! She wanted to get a proper camera, so she got this. It's the one up from mine but I still like mine better! Dad got it from work and it worked out cheaper again than any shops because of the tax free airport thing.

Pretty cool we now have similar kinda cameras, :)

Presents for my mum's birthday. Fingers crossed she likes them. She's hard but easy to buy for. She likes the usual things - like smellies and sweets, things she uses everyday but rarely buys because I do, but then it's nice to get something different but that's hard with her! I have a photo frame that I'm going to put a photo of me and my sister in, and the cake thing so that's something new :)

This looks yummy. I had an idea when my Mum was turning 60 to make a cake using rock, not a real cake, but make one out of a box, and use the rock as candles, but I've always forgotten to get rock in time for her birthday but I remembered this year! It sounds weird I know but my mum will get a laugh out of it, I'm sure! I want to try the clotted cream ons so bath though, and the cinnamon!

A crappy photo. There were too many flowers to focus on and I don't think my camera liked it, plus it's too dark. Anyway, they are just flowers from Tesco that cost 1.50 but they came out so big and pretty!

Fennel tea - looks like pee but actually tastes ok, not amazing amazing but its apparently good for the stomach and your insides. I got some green tea too and I'm trying to like it, but it's not that nice really, unless you put a ton of sugar in it and then that kinda defeats the point of it!

The Olympics are on. I love the Olympics!! I've been watching as much as possible - diving, swimming, cycling, athletics, and Britain amazing which makes it even better.

Next one is 2012 in london, I would really love to go to some events when that comes around :)

New carpets fitted today. It's very dark (hides all the dirt!) A little darker than what I would have choosen but the stairs get used the most, so like I said, it hides more I guess.

Better than what we had before anyway, by a mile and better than the hard wood underneath which was killing my legs!

I haven't take as many photos as I thought I had, bad louise. I've been ill so missed a few days out here and there. :) Plus i'm nearly a whole month behind :/
