More food. I didn't intend to take so many food photos. I had really high hopes for this and it turned out really lovely, smelt like custard so I thought 'great! I'll put some icing on it and have it with custard'Unfortunately, we didn't have any custard and the cake was quite heavy, not fluffy and spongey like a normal sponge cake. All I could taste was custard too and it just reminded me that I didn't have custard to go with it!
The birds loved it though.
