19th December

The snow kept on falling and I think we had about 6 inches, maybe a little more. This isn't a grat deal compared to others but as London is rubbish with dealing with anything more than a few inches, it's a lot. It's pretty but as my sister is due to fly back home for Christmas in Wednesday, it's not good at all :(

I went to do some last minute shopping and on the bus home it starting snowing. In a space of 20 minutes we had 3inches of snow, so I took a couple of pictures in the garden (I was too cold to venture out again and take some better ones)

What are you doing for Christmas this year? Normally spent with the family, opening presents, big dinner, games tv.. the usual.
What kind of Christmas tree do you have? Artifical, a - because i'm a perfectionist and real ones never look completely right, and b - milly would eat the needles if we had a real one ^_^
Do you take part in a secret santa? I have, I spent ages trying to find nice things for mine so fingers crossed I get something nice in return!
Have you ever had a white Christmas? I think a fair few years ago we did as I remember building a snowman in the garden with my sister.. Maybe about 15 years ago?
How early do you wake up on Christmas morning? I used to wake up ridiculousy early at 6am - 7am. Now at about 9 - 9.30ish :]
Do you still get a stocking? We did them last year but it's never really been a tradition for us..
How many Christmas cards do you normally send out? Me personally about 15 - 20, and about 60 for family & friends
What is your Christmas wish? World peace and health and happiness for all. Or lots of lush and paperchase, please
When do you open your gifts? About 10ish, depends really..
What's the best gift you've ever gotten? GHD's!
Do you like wrapping presents? I love wrapping!!

I took part in a secret santa thing last year and it was a bit of a dissapointment as my secret santa bought things that weren't really on my likes list, the lipgloss looked used so I chucked it and, they bought myself and another person the same thing.. I'm hoping this year will be better as I put a lot of effort into mine.

Our little trip to Costco as we were passing by. Funny how some people have trolleys full to the brim with things and we just had this. Beef hula hoops = nom!

I rarely repurchase products from lush, not that I don't like them but there is such a huge choice and more things are brought out a lot, so I try new things. This is one of the things I have bought a few of. Spacegirl bath ballastic, which I basicially just buy because it smells so lovely :]

I do hate long bus rides, especially the ones that stop at every single stop and then wait for about 5 minutes at each stop when there's no one there.. Joy!

My ever growing present drawer. Doing pretty well so far already as it's only the 6th and I have quite a few bits. If i've seen things and thought they would be good for someone, I've bought them. I think the first thing I bought was in September.

My christmas cards for this year. I take forever choosing cards for some reason. I hate buying a set and then finding nicer ones, same with wrap. Silly perfectionist ways.
(I've already bought the ones for next year as I bought the first lot ^ and then the ones I really liked were reduced to half price)

Have you been naughty or nice this year? Nice but I do wonder if I've broken a mirror or something lately
What do you want most for Christmas? World peace
Do you believe in Father Christmas? Nope! I'm 28, so it would be weird if I did!
What is your favorite food at Christmas? The roast turkey part? We don't really over do it at Christmas food wise..
Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? Yup!
Have you finished your Christmas shopping yet? Nope!
What is your favorite Christmas song? I can never remember the name, something about the Calvary or I wish it could be Christmas everyday!
What is your favorite Christmas movie? ELF, Miracle on 34th Street, Home Alone, Love Actually and The Holiday
What is your best memory of Christmas? The year I got a green pram I wanted and my parents filled the box with newspapers and bottles and I thought they didn't buy it.
What do you look forward to most at Christmas? Presents!! I mean seeing my family, yeah, family..
2nd December

A few things for christmas - christmas cupcake cases, tissue paper, selotapes and some gift bags to put biscuits/truffles in :]

I used to do these when I was a little younger, so I thought I would buy a few more. Yeah they are meant more for kids I guess but they are a way of focusing on something else and I find them enjoyable :]

27th November

One bonus of not going away for the weekend was that I could watch the masterchef australia finals. I became addicted to my daily fix of it and got hooked into it like I haven't with any other programme, except maybe Lost. It's so much better than the UK one.. This one one of the last things made in the weekly masterclass. A ice cream, sugar, raspberry, honeycomb, cream, chocolate combo. Wantwantwant.

Yesterday I was meant to go and visit my sister in Basel for the weekend, but due to snow and our inability to cope with it, my flight was cancelled. I made another flight for the next day and extended the stay until Monday, went to the airport, after after 5 hours of delays, wandering around terminal 5, looking at expensive things, reading a trashy magazine, eating overly priced quavers, my flight was cancelled again. Boo. I was so tired and dehydrated, that I just wanted to go home. I've cancelled the ticket completely and will go next year.

Just as with yesterday, Milly wouldn't leave ourside, and just wanted to sleep. She's so funny with her cone head :D

Little Milly was spayed today. When we took her too the vet at 8.30am, she looked utterly terrified, and gave me her 'don't leave me here' eyes when we left :( When we picked her up later that day, she was so sleepy and completely out of it. She wandered around for a few minutes but jumped on my lap and didn't move for the next 4 hours, bless her.

Freebie soaps. They smelt lovely, amybe just as good as lush ones (lush is lovely but some of the over sweet ones are incredibly sickly) The apricot one was yummy.

These socks will be my winter saviour. They are so warm with a fluffy material inside, and it feels like you're not wearing them when you are. I luff them.

I'm a big F1 fan and my favourites are Lewis and Jenson of course but Sebastian Vettel is my favourite and he won the title this year, on the last race and by a matter of a few points. I don't know what was better - Seb winning or the look on Alonso's face because he lost :D

I'm not a fan of Kylie in the slightest, and Nick Cave also but I've recently heard this and I can't put into words how much I adore everything about it. It's so haunting, but beautiful at the same time.
18th November

Possibly the nicest tasting drink ever. Maybe cherry coke beats it but this stuff is lush :D
(can you tell I'm lacking motivation photo wise lately?)

I had a gift voucher that I bought from models own during the sale so I got a £20 voucher for £10 so I thought i'd use it up as I clearly need more nail polishes.
Yeah.
I got purple grey, gun grey, cherry pie (which I wanted to be a bit brighter but hey ho) and a lovely lip gloss in ballet pink. I love them all, models own do make lovely make up, so thumbs up to them!

My new cross trainer. Another one.. I seem to go through them pretty fast and I thought maybe a bike would be better but that really only exercises your legs, and I like the work out the elliptical gives. We'll see how this one works. :]
