We've been joined to Costco for a while and they are famous for doing hmazing cakes, but i've never tried them before as they are huge - too big for 2 people or they come in packs of 12. Again too many. But when we went last time theuy were giving out samples of the carrot cake.

Seriously seriously the nicest cake i've ever tried (even beats my own coffee and walnut amazingfantastic cake) The cream on top tasted like kinder chocolate and the cake was lovely. Even better than the carrot cake we used to get from tesco years ago which they stopped making. I want more!

I bought this orchid last year, and had it in my room but it it died rather quickly. We kept it and put it on the bookcase at the top of the stairs and a few months ago it started growing again. It now has 5 flowers and is very pretty.

Weird face banana cake! This scares me too look at it.. It's low sugar though which is good as my dad can have some, although when you say low sugar to him, he sees this as you saying 'you can eat it all within a day' which then raises his sugar level..

Some random things I bought on folksy. Some things are a bit eh to be honest and the thing I liked most was the free oatmeal and honey soap which smells amazing (still doesn't beat lush though). Ah well you win some you lose some.

My sister told me about this. It's a journal that you have to basicially 'wreck' by drawing over it, dropping it, bending it, etc.. It gives you instructions on each page of what to do with that page and I thought i'd give it a go too as it sounds quite fun :D

I've wanted to buy this top for a while, and even tried it on twice before, but it seems a bit price at £28 (this is what happens once you buy clothes at primark) I got emailed a voucher to get £10 off a £20 spend because I voted on a father of the year competition (thank you peter andre) It made the top just £18 so I purchased it.

I love wimbledon, and it's been great so far. This game went on for a crazy amount of time - about 11 hours. Pretty incredible that they were both still standing at the end.

I have a constant battle with split ends, which is due to hair straightening so the new product i'm trying is by Lee Stafford as I've heard some great things about it. Fingers crossed it makes a bit of a difference.

This is a nice thing on a particularly shite day. I bought itunes vouchers and the bag they were in got stolen (i'm saying stolen as I'd feel worse if I just left it in the toilet as I might have done..) so the vouchers were gone as were other birthday presents. I felt shite for the rest of the day and it ruined birthday surprises :( Anyway, the lush sample is of their new soap, which wasn't out until monday but the nice lush manager Dan gave me a secret sample :]
