21st February

One of my last lush buys was this - Strawberry Feels Forever - which does smell luffley but it's a wee bit greasy, which is a bit of a disappointment because the last one I had (soft couer?) wasn't like that. It is nice but I should have waited and Got the Each Peach one (which was out of stock at the time)

1. What’s something you love and is quite bad for you?
My addiction to dipping my finger in the sugar pot and licking my finger. It's stupid and I should just eat a chocolate or biscuit instead..
2. What’s something you hate and is quite good for you?
Vitamins. Not that I hate them but I forget to take them all the time!
3. What’s something that’s about equally good and bad for you?
Curly Wurlys. Bad because it's chocolate&fat&sugar. Good because i'm so restrictive in other ways that my body probably loves the fact I eat them & gets some sugar
4. What’s something you’ve been told is bad for you but you suspect is not as bad as people say?
Hmm.. I can't think! Looking on the bad side of everything?
5. What’s something most people consider ugly but you consider beautiful?
Those cats with no fur. All cats are cute!

Cookies I made at home, which were nicer than other recent ones ahem. I put coconut and chocolate chips in them and they smelt lovely when they were cooking (You can't beat the smell of cakes or biscuits cooking in the oven!)

My new top, ready for summer when it shows up. It's floaty and thin, and I like the ruffles at the top, which seem to be all in fashion this year.

I hated my keyboard since I got it and I hate wires so when I saw this in tesco for half price (£30 to £14) I bought it, and it's the best! So much so, my dad bought one too :D

Friday 5: Warmth!
1. What is your favorite blanket like?
It's a blanket on my bed at the momento. I sleep in it, under my duvet because it's cold cold still. It's so snuggly
2. What was the last thing you baked?
Hmm bread pudding. Bread mushed up with milk and water with dried fruit, suet, coconut, lots of spices and an egg. Mixed up, put in a tin, baked in the oven on GM4 for about an hour or more.
3. What television personality gets you most hot and bothered?
Jack from Lost. Or Sawyer from Lost. Or Desmond from Lost.
4. When did you last burn yourself?
Not for ages, I can't remember!
5. What are your feelings about hot sauce?
I hate super spicy stuff. It burns your lips and then you can't taste the food..
11th February

I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream.
Except I don't really like ice cream. You eat it and it just goes.. a bit like skips. I don't like skips. I like the fudge brownie one from Bk, but they still haven't got it back on their menu. Anyway, this was at the Toby Carvery.

My dad has had his car for about 11 years and slowly things are going wrong. Not really wrong as the car hasn't really ever had a problem but the air conditioning broke, he tried to fix it, the radio broke.. etc. At the moment the scrappage scheme means if you buy a new car you get £2000 off, which is incredible!
We drove honda jazz, and kia ceed cars but this car ^^ by hyuandai was the pick of the bunch. My dad fell inlove and it has amazing reviews so he bought it. When we went on Monday, the man said he had 5 avaliable. When we went the next day, he had one (out one!) It comes in red as to buy one in a metallic colour would mean waiting 4 months (my dad is as inpatient as me)
It should be ready at the start of March fingers crossed, with shiny new number plates for this year :] (and a radio!!)

Books!
1) What's your favoruite magazine? I like free magazines! I'm weird I guess but I think glamour, heat etc are full of shite and the only magazines I read are the tesco, sainsburys, asda, boots, superdrug.. free ones. Or the ones that come with newspapers. Or cooking magazines :}
2) What book are you currently reading? Goodnight beautiful by Dorothy Koomson
3) What's the worst book you ever read? I can't remember the names but any book with rubbish endings. I hate reading a book the whole way through and then the ending is a bit of a cop out.. I also dislike those 'daddy no' kinda books about bad childhoods..
4) What makes a book perfect for you? One you can get lost in, a book you can't put down.
5) If you could buy any book right now, which one would it be? I have enough, I don't need anymore!
3rd February

I love how pretty and delicate orchids are. It was sitting on the shelf on my desk but I don't think it was getting enough sunshine, and was looking a bit sorry for itself, so it's now on the landing.
My herbs also look dead = I'm crap at growing stuff.

It's typical that when it's raining, I have my camera with me. When it's not and it's sunny, I forget it. This is one of those times. Boo me. A bit of sunshine makes me smile though :]

31st January

Herby herbs. I wanted a little herb growing kit for christmas but santa never brought me one. I saw this one in homebase and thought it was perfect for my shelf so it will hopefully be producing basil, chives and parsley very shortly and then when they've grown, I might plant little flowers for the summer time.

A few more things I like
7. Sport - I'm a bit of a tomboy when it comes to this as a lot of girls don't like sports and prefer to watch sex in the city but I love watching sport. I love when it's a big event, like The Olympics, Wimbledon and I really ger into it. I love darts, tennis, snooker, golf, rugby sometimes, athletics. Football i'm a bit bored of now (it's all money money money now) Darts is my definite favourite at the moment.
8. New Pj's - I love a nice warm pair of new pajamas in the winter as it makes me feel cosy and snuggled. Primark do the best fleece PJ's ever! I have 3 pairs from there and I spotted another colour I want. I'm trying to resist as winter will probably be over soon, but at least i'll have them all ready for next winter!
9. Exercise - I'm not a fan of the gym, I might be but i've never actually been to one but I love exercise. I love the energy it gives me, it makes me feel healthier and fitter. I love the buzz I get after finishing a really good and hard workout.
10. Hunting bargains - I have no shame in admiting that I love bootsales, markets, poundshops and anything like that. I think if you can buy something cheaper than the original price, then why not. I've picked up some amazing bargains, especially getting £18 worth of lush products for a tiny 50p! I'm looking forward to the new bootsale season starting again soon.

Just trying out the flower setting on my new camera. I like the effect it gives the photos, very glowey. I likes it :D

Finished my first book of the year 'A Compromising Position' by Carole Matthews, which was ok. An easy read, so next on the list is this one. I like her books, i've read a few of hers before so hopefully it'll be good.

I was flicking through channels while watching tv at night and this was on qvc. It was hilarious, the picture doesn't show what it does but how the presenter kept a straight face while using it, i'll never know!
(I didn't buy one, no)

Friday
to spread some happiness or something, 6 things I love :D
1. My pets – I love animals, all animals but my pets are especially adorable. My cat is an old lady now but we've had her since she was a tiny 8 weeks old and she would fit on the palm of my hand. She is super cute (and a bit crazy in the head) And pickle, the chinese dwarf hamster, is shy but has his own little personality. One day I will own a dog though, i've wanted one since I can remember and I won't feel complete if I don't own one at some point in my life.
2. My bed & sleep – I love waking up feeling refreshed from a good nights sleep.
My bed feels like the safest place, Whether I may be reading a good book, watching a film or those cheesy repeats of two pints on BBC3, I feel protected when i'm hiding under the covers.. If you can't find me, then I'm usually hiding under my duvet.
3. Lush - I love lush. I love what they stand for. I love walking into one of their shops and everything is so colourful and smells delightful. I especially love their bubble bars, soaps (porridge!) and lemony flutter.
4. Making other people happy – I think there is nothing better than making someone else laugh, smile or feel better if they are feeling blue. It gives me a wonderful feeling of joy inside and I like that
5. Christmas Time – And not just for presents! I love the build up to it - music playing in the shops, how everyone (well mostly everyone) seem that little bit more cheerful, christmas cards, decorations, putting the tree up, wrapping presents and most importantly spending time with family and eating too much food. It's a shame it's very commericialised now, although i'm probably as guilty as the next person for buying into it!
6. Baking - I love baking. I wish I realised when I was a teenager that it would become some what of a passion for me when I got into my 20s as I would have done something about it during school, maybe tried to make a career out of it. I love browsing recipe blogs and sites to find new things to try and create. I've tried so many different foods I would have never considered before. Who would have thought the girl who 4 years ago would only eat peas (and feel incredibly embarrased by that when out at restaurants) would now try the list of veg i've tried. I love cooking shows and collecting cookbooks also :]
21st January

Hooge fox in the garden. I've never actually seen a fox before, which is a bit weird, but this one wandered into our garden during the day. Probably looking for food as it's been snowing but it was massive!

We usually go to the Waters Edge for a carvery but it's been crap lately so we tried the toby one for a change. It was so much better! Lovely atmosphere, tasty hot food with a different selection of veg and gravy and there was more people there, which is nicer as it feels more cosy and warm.

A hamper we made for an uncle who is turning 80. Hampers from the shops are ridiculously overpriced and the stuff in them is crap for the price (like John Lewis £100 for a hamper?) so we made one and I bought lots of different things in smaller sizes, like jam, custard, biscuits, chocolates etc and it all cost under £15. I'm happy with it and he loved it!

This shop is pretty near me and we go past it too go to Ikea/london/westfield but i've never been in so we did and it is theeee coolest shop. Sells every chinese food product you'd need - meats, noodles, sauces, snacks, veg. I bought some yam noodles, some sauces, including a sugar free sweet chilli sauce. I also got some pear and pineapple flavouring which is great for yoghurt (there never are healthy pineapple yoghurts so yay!) and cakes. Definitely going to go there again :]
