19th August

I made chocolate eclairs for the first time. They are pretty simple (or seemples!) to make, and tasted loverly. And my cat liked the cream :D

Best part of going to the beach = nougat! You can buy it from the shops and stuff but it's from the beach and that makes it better, uh huh. It's still not the type that we used to get when we were younger. It was different flavours like strawberry, lemon, mint, chocolate, and had a very thin layer of chocolate around it. It's amazing but we can't find it anymore. Boo :(

I was going to take a proper picture of my lovely new bracelet but I never got around to it. So this is another phone photo (few more of them coming up, was getting a bit bored of the 'look what I bought' photos..)
Althought this is a photo of bracelet I just bought.. hmm.
I adore it muchly though.

My cat has developed a weird love for plastic bags, and for sleeping on them. She's really rather random..

My obsession about cookery books continues.
The donna hay one.. well I saw this in sainsburys about 2 months ago in the reduced section. I thought ok I probably don't need it really, it was about £4 so I passed on it. When I went back, it was pushed right to the back, it was looking sad alone and very beat up and was not £2.52. I had to give it a new home. It had been reduced 4 times. Poor thing.
The other book I saw in tkmaxx and is really similar to the first donna hay book I have. The photos are amazing. My dream is too have a big book case full of pretty cook books :]

Nope I haven't been spending more money. I won these and I actually really wanted them so yayayayayay! The brush is so soft, and i've yet to try the complexion perfection but it does look good, so I will give it a whirl soon.

I finally got a new cross trainer and it's the one i've wanted for a while. My old one was knackered and broke, but the one I really wanted was £200 new. Bit too pricey and the cheap ones looked so flimsy.
I searched for ages and finally found one selling on gumtree for £80! So we went to pick it up (from the nicest person ever, she was so lovely!) and here it is.
It's so sturdy, very heavy!! but it does the job. Plus it's a elliptical and stepper in 1. I did 30 minutes on my first go on it, and I really enjoyed it :)

A framed photo of one of the photos I took at Santago for my cousin because she loved my photos and mention wanting one blown up, so we surprised her and did it for her birthday. Looks cool and she loved it, which made me smile :)

I bought this and the first book in a charity shop. I wouldn't mind giving them a read but i'll take ages knowing me, so I sold them for a wee bit of profit on the ebay. Thumbs up!

I'm so annoyed because this photo makes me laugh but I somehow put the setting on camera to economy so all the photos are of it are fuzzed until I realised a few days later. Duh.
Don;t ask why I take photos in the toilet.. Hmm.

We've always had lavender growing in the garden since I can remember, although i'm not the biggest fan of the smell (give me a heady head) but my mum loves it..

I was just on one of my random walks and took a picture. I'm trying to take random pictures when i'm out and about. I want to get a little camera that I could take around in my bag but the smaller ones = more expensive, even used ebay ones. So maybe not. This random person got in my picture though :(
Doesn't ealing look dirty though?

Oh oh this smells lush! It's like the body shop creams that cost crazy prices, like £12 for a pot. This one is from Primark and cost me a whooping £2 and it's lovely. It leaves your skin feeling soft and there's no grease. Pretty darn good for £2, so I went back and got a mango one too!

I went to see Harry Potter. It was pretty cool as i've never seen a HP film at the cinema. The special effects were incredible but on the downside it was a bit too long and there didn't seem to be much point to the film except that dumbeldore didn't. It was a bit of a filler film? It was cool though :)

The veggies in the garden have surpassed our expectations. We've never grown anything more than tomatoes and herbs I think but this year we had 26lbs of potatoes, or kilos.. can't remember but there was so many!! We've had about 20 courgettes and the carrots are sprouting too. They aren't huge but hey ho. Now we have the tomatoes coming through and they are so tasty! We're also growing salad leaves, raddishes and peppers :]

(I realise i'm mostly taking photos of what i've bought recently, i've just not had much motivation to take photos of much else and the weather hasn't been fabulous to head out and take photos. Hope this will change soon!
Just some jammie bottoms and a coconut body scrub. I love coconut but these smells nasty although it didn't in the tube.. :/
