1st June

A Cheese scone with fresh chives, as we have them growing in the garden.

And i'm finally caught up!

31st May

Oh I love this book. I was wondering around tesco and spotted it, and then spotted the £2 price sticker and nabbed it! It was originally £11 and it's so pretty. It's all cakes, biscuits, puddings, pies and things and every recipe has a picture for it. It tells you everything you need to know, from ingrediants to what the ingrediants are, the the tools, conversions.. so if you had never baked a cake/dessert before, you would be able too from this book.

Plus the pictures are amazing, it's like a photography and recipe book in one.

I actually want to take photos of every page. I sadly may do just that next week.

30th May

Kitty in the garden. It was baking hot this weekend, and I actually liked it for a chance. I even sunbathed in the garden. I never do that anymore because I get self conscious although I got quite burnt.. silly me.

29th May

There is a robin, well a family, nesting in my neighbours front garden so i've finally got some good robin photos! It's been a mission of mine. Eat your heart out chris packham.

28th May

Coffee and walnut cake, which wasn't for me unfortunately but I can say it tasted amazing because when I sliced the top off the cake off to level it, I ate it! and I spread some of the butter cream on it too. It's a bad habit of mine).

I love coffee and walnut cake. I guess this was more a coffee cake with walnuts on though. I would have cut up walnuts and put it in the batter instead..

27th May

This is a cool book. I read it in 2 days, although to be honest it's not the biggest book but I wanted to see what happened in the end. It's sad, about the holocaust and quite gripping, I'd recommend it.

26th May

Funnay!

25th May

My dad's 60th. It was a great day. We decorated the house with balloons, banners, and photos. my sister came back from NZ that day, he liked his cake (even if I still think it was a bit shit) He liked his presents a lot, and we went for dinner, which was lovely. And it was sunny.
