24th May

I had a image of a wonderful look sugar free cake but it didn't really go to plan but making stuff sugar free is so tough :( i used half the sugar, and put some splenda in. I also used a hot option chocolate sachet to give it a chocolate flavour but I think cocoa powder would have been heaps better.

I wanted to put chocolate frosting on top and decorate it with marshmallows but the chocolate was too runny so I just put it in the middle, and cut some marshmallows up (which look like teeth...)

Better than no cake though, it's the though that counts. At least sugar free cheesecake and muffins work well!

23rd May

Seeds (again). I'm just proud of them so there are photos in abundance of them.

22nd May

Our first tataaa! It's very tiny but we actually have a potato so woop!

21st May

Homemade shortbread. So easy to make by mixing butter and sugar together and then with a fork, mixing in flour and semolina, press into a buttered tin, prick well, bake for 30ish minutes and walaa, shortbread.

19th May

Sleeping kitty cat

18th May

I bought a battery from 7dayshop.com as a spare. The originals are about £35 but 7dayshop copies are about £4 and the power is even stronger than the original canon.

Even if it doesn't last as long as the original, you can't go wrong with a fiver.

17th May

A new top. I like this a lot, and it goes with my two cardis, so it's all good. :]

16th May

Birdy in the garden. I quite like this because it's in focus and up close.

15th May

Some bits and bobs for my dad's 60th.. Banners, balloons, badges, candles and marshmallows and chocolate (sugar free) which will hopefully go into making a birthday cake!

20th May

I ordered sweets online, bassats fruit salads but they sent me these.. which were rock hard and not the great fruit salads I wanted. Boo.

I emailed and they were nice enough to send me the fruit salads and my mum had the other sweets. I also got cookie poppets, which I couldn't find in the shops anywhere.

They are yum, a bit like malteasers..

14th May

Still going strong

13th May

This bread was so yummy! It's sundried tomato and cheese and smelt so heavenly!

12th May

There was an offer to get a book made for free, you just had to pay the postage so I got one done of the leopard photos. It turned out ok but I wouldn't pay the full amount for it as the print is a little off on some photos, and one photo is printed 3 times :/

11th May

A make up bag, which cost me £1 and it's stripey!

10th May

A top for a wedding. I didn't want to wear a dress, because i'd feel uncomfortable but I think this is weddingy? I have a beige cardi that goes over it, black trousers and black smart shoes.

9th May

Honeycomb! My first attempt at making it aswell :] Normally anything like fudge, toffee.. I fail at but this turned out great. I might try more bicard next time to make it more fluffy and then but it in a smaller tin so it's thicker.

8th May

Yet some thing else to grow in the garden! Apparently they grow in about 6 weeks and hey for 40p, you can't go wrong with that.

7th May

A new shirt, that needs an iron so it seems. I wanted a checked shirt but couldn't find one that I really liked but this one is lovely stuff..

6th May

Although we probably might not have room for a bread maker because we bought a steamer. It was only £6.99 (and it will probably get used less and less) but so far so good. The rice we made in it was nice.

*Still would like a breadmaker though*

5th May

The leaning tower of buns! These ones turned out nice but i'm still perfecting making my own bread. Using sachets of yeast seems to work better than making the foam stuff but maybe I have to leave it too rise for longer?

I'd love a breadmaker :]

4th May

Birdies in the garden..

3rd May

Why yes, this is a picture of john higgins playing snooker.. I'm sad.

2nd May

These remind me of growing up because we always used to make them - butterfly fairy cakes :]

1st May

Being a whole month behind on this is not good. I feel bad about it actually. I do have photos for everyday though, probably more than 1 photo for each day so I will catch up!

First veggie soup. You can beat making your own soup from scratch and a veg one with brocolli, califlour, peppers, carrots.. etc is the best one!

30th April

Cuuuute

29th April

My cat enjoying the sunshine. It has been really lovely lately and I normally hate sunshine but it has been nice. I doubt i'll be saying that in a few months when it's boiling as we're being predicted a indian summer. Woe :/

28th April

The little plants I got for my birthday, growing well. They've actually got even bigger, well the sweet peas have, so i'll have to take a updated picture soon.

27th April

All decorated and tasting yummy!

26th April

Cakey cake for my uncle. Made today and will be decorated tomorrow :]

25th April

Osterley again. Went with the intention of taking photos of bluebells but you had to pay to go on that walk. I would have paid but my dad didn't and I couldn't be bothered to do it.. Ah well. Still took some nice photos, the sun was gloriously shinning and I saw the cutest little baby ducks!

24th April

I'm getting nearer! Unfortunately they were taken through a dirty wondow but I still like them, especially the second one. I opened the window up and waited for him (her?) to come back for ages but no luck

23rd April

Potatoe seeds, which are surprisingly growing so well all around the garden! :D

22nd April

Courgette seeds!

21st April

This is pretty cool as it's a deodrant but a crystal one so you never have to use the usual stuff again but apparently they can be harmful (so researchers say) I think it cost £4 and if it last ages then that's a good saving, good for the environment and all that malarky :]

20th April

My sister bought me these stickers for my birthday, how cool are they!! you can stick them everywhere so they are popping up all over the house at the moment :D

18th April

Birthday presents for someone. The cards are from paperchase, I could spend so much in paperchase so it's lucky I only go to one a few times a year if that. The lindt balls are yummy but 5 of these babies are peanut butter flavoured = they taste so amazing!! BUY THEM!

18th April

Trying something with zoom on my camera where you take a photo on slow shutter speed and move the zoom during. Crappy for a first attempt but fun to play around with.
