1st October

My parents love cornish pasties and there was a recipe in a magazine for them so I thought why not give them a whirl (Normal shop bought ones have onions in and my dad is starting not to get on with them :/)

Anyway, they turned out so lovely apparently even though they took 3 hours to make in total. It's loads of cutting up potato, meat, carrot, turnip and then making the pastry, then they take an hour to cook. But I made 6 so 4 are in the freezer.

30th September

See these are the cereal bars take two but with all oats (no branflakes) and apple instead of banana. And I didn't puit raisins in but I will next time. I did it in a smaller tin and they turned out taller, moister and so much better!

It would be lovely I think with golden syrup added in but this is a low sugar version so my dad could try it. my version would have syrup and chocolate chips!

I want to try it will strawberrys and raspberrys!

29th September

All my photos are about food so it seems! The flapjacks are kinda a recipe hmm. They are oat/branflake bars, with raisins and banana in but I made them in my square 8inch tin so they came out a bit flat, where as if I did them in a smaller tin, they'd be taller and more moist. They were tasty though and it's a recipe that can be adjusted and made even better.

The soup is carrot and corrinder and it's so tasty! I never used to even like carrots but this soup is so nice, I could have eaten it over twice :)

28th September

The coolest shop, called Fat Face. It's kinda funky surf type stuff and I bought a little purple purse for a fiver. They had some cool bags too, so i'll need to remember that when it's sales time after Christmas maybe!

27th September

No more BK loving posts after this, but this is why I love them so dearly. Buy one Fusion and get a whole other one free. So that's 2 whole pots of fudge brownie ice cream for 99p.

Oh I love them so..

26th September

Cleo mid nose lick!

25th September

All my posts seem to be about spending money, but everything was a bargain so it's not too bad. I need to get into a cleanser, toner, moisturer routine as my skin is too great recently. Probably hormones more than anything but I read up online that Simple is good for skin as it contains none of the bad stuff - alcohol, smells, colourants and they were 25% in Sainsburys so I thought I would give them a try!

Fingers crossed they help a little as I'm getting sick of spots on my chin.

24th September

Red sparkly nails using the Barry M varnishes I got not too long ago. The colour took forever to get off though, it was welded to my nails and I put it on my toes and it's still on there!

(I hate my fingers btw hmpf My knuckles are chubby)

23rd September

I would love to put a camera on pickle during the night and see how long it takes him to do that ^^

22nd September

Something I should have done last week but finally did today. Uploading some photos for printing. They took 6 hours!! Hopefully our new speedy internet will sort that out next time. Goodbye 2mb and hello 24mb!

21st September

New things and all bargains! The metallica album was cheap as it was free delivery and cheap anyone. The perfume I got from ebay (it's one of my favourites but it's now discontinued so I got 2 of those, one for christmas and one for now and it's was half the price of what it normally one) and the make up - That was on a website where you could buy anything, pay the postage and get 25pounds worth of stuff for free. So I bought a lipbalm and got a lipgloss, eyeshadow, lipstick, lippencil and a nail varnish for free!

Happy days!

20th September

Cheesecake! Which is low fat, and very sugar free! And it actually tasted like cheesecake. I used light digestives and butter for the base and the cheesy bit is low fat yoghurt, light cheese, lemon and sweetner.

Next time I would add a coulie thing on the top, maybe a chocolate one or fruit but I didn't get chance too as whenever anybody ate it, they just ate it without giving me a chance to do it. But ahwell, it went down well so that's something I can make again in the future!

19th September

A new book. Well it's not new as i've had it a while but i've just started it. I was a little way through another book, by the same author actually but I kinda forget to read it and lost what was happening. So I put it down and started this one, and i'll start the other one again when I finished this one. :)

18th September

New sheepy PJ's. I saw these in Primark and they were just a fiver so they will be perfect for the winter, with my lovely warm socks. I'm going to be as snug as a bug in a rug!

17th September

These I saw in a poundshop (I love love poundshops) and they are so yummy. Another healthy thing yeah but if i'm going to eat sweets, it's not the worst thing to eat the healthy versions of them :) These taste just like crunchies though!

16th September

Christmas presents, far too early even for me! I saw the sweets and they were 2 for 1, so I got them. Same with the sprays but I'll probably give my mum one of the sweets now instead of for Christmas because the package is all crappy.

Unless I eat them first.

Mmm dolly mixtures!

15th September

It's only September but i'm already feeling cold, i'm going to be a louise shaped cube of ice by December so I saw these in tesco and bought them. They are so lovely and warm and soft so at least my feets will survive the winter.

(That made me sound 70)

14th September

I love this little book! My sister bought a dessert one when we went shopping and I bought this one because had a mix of everything, and it's healthy, and I like healthy! I've cooked things i've never tried before, like courgettes and butternut squash (I love BNS!!) and different chickens and fish.

They do lots of books in the series, chicken, suppers, veggie, healthy eats (which I would like) and there are some coming out in October, so I'm hoping to get a few more of them :)

13th September

Something in the paper that made me smile!

12th September

Some yummy bread pudding made in my new square posh cake tin :) This is a good one to make because it's sugar free and my dad can eat it, well except the fruit.

11th September

These are pictures my Mum has been on about getting for years because a family member had some and she loves them, so my sister got some for my Mum's birthday so she was very pleased with them..

Although they don't appear to have been hung very straight *tilts head* :/

10th September

My Mum got this fudge for her birthday along with a big bag of different sweets, but the fudge was so tasty. Lots of different kinds including, cream, walnut, chocolate chip, chocolate and rum and raisin. I loved the walnut one and I had a few of those because my mum can't eat nuts, lucky me! :D They apparently do a malteaser one but it wasn't in this selection. Must try that one though!

9th September

It was my lovely Mum's birthday today! I think she had a good day and my rock cake creation went down well! :D

8th September

The day before my Mum's birthday. Me and my sister went to Osterley Park to take some photos with the cameras, then headed to Ealing to do shopping and then back home for cake!

I got these magic candles which don't go out when you blow them, but they were huge flame wise, set off the smke alarm and nearly caught us all alight, so we had to remove them using scissors.

The cake was lovely though!

7th September

Missed a day! Whoops!

6th September

Looks not so nice but tastes ammmmmmazing!!
