Too much flash but these scones were too nice not too post. It was fathers day yesterday and I made a variety of different scones for my Dad - cheese, mustard and ham, cheese, mustard and tomato, apple, cinnamon and dried fruit and dried fruit on it's own.
I had a cinnamon fruit one - To die for! I do make a fabulous scone, I should see these babies!
A fly past of loads of planes but these were the only ones I managed to get photos of as I couldnt get my camera ready in time.
From the new camera. I really like this, well once I cut out the really blurry bit at the bottom of the photo. I would have liked to get Cleo a little more in focus but you can't win them all!
Another trip to Osterley. Dad and me went to Ealing to go to the new Primark (which is great, i've never liked Primark until I saw the ealing one) and I got a cute pretty bracelet from Accessorize but I took my camera incase we had enough time to take photos as Osterley which we did.
We were a bit rushed but I got some decent photos, in the time we had. Need to go somewhere else though as I'm always comparing back to photos i've taken before. I think the quality of these ones outweigh any previous attempts though.
Tree men cutting a neighbours trees down all morning, it was pretty interesting to watch actually!

All my scrapping stuff, well most of it! I kept a few bits and bobs but it's mostly all in that box, which is a weird thought. I kinda just thought to myself 'what a waste of money' but then again I bet lots of people say that about things they've bought when they look back in them, and I still am glad I did it because I made that book for my Mum, but I should have stopped there!
I would have liked to get a little more for it all but it wouldn't have been worth the hassle of packaging things up seperately to make a few pounds extra and so many things would just be chucked away, which I would have hated.

Also Jan is bringing the luck because Holland are doing fabulously in Euro08 this year. Knew I should have put a bet on them!)
Ok so I have a new camera. Louise is a very bad girl but she did do a lot to earn one. She sold all her scrapbooking stuff, a digital frame, a mp3 and random bits and bobs to help fund the purchase of this beautiful baby.
I asked my dad to look at work for one, in duty free and it was 336 (cheapest anywhere is 376, and I would have ideally wanted to buy it from a shop so that's john lewis where it's 394) and at the moment there is a cashback deal of 45off so it would make it 291, which is incredibly cheap
Such a bargain! So I bought one. I do feel really guilty about it still but I do love it and it's not like I will buy the one next up next year or anything. This is it for a long while camera wise (and I honestly do mean it) I've wanted one for a really really long time :] Isn't it pretty? I got the accessories really cheaply too. I got a bag which is worth 39.99 (had the tags on it and everything) for 10pounds!! and the card and filter, I got cheaply too.
And then today, this went up on Ebay. Dad got them from dixons at the airport for 22.24 or something and in the shops they are 44.99 so I had a brainwave to make money by selling them. Luckily I just got one as they didn't really make as much profit as I thought they would, what with ebay fees and paypal fees and then more ebay fees (I hate ebay for that) but hey ho.

This is a funny story. Al bought me one of these ^ for my birthday and it went a bit funky, so I sent it back to Kodak, and they sent me a new one (really good service actually) and they also sent me the fixed one (even better service!!) So this one went on Ebay :D Happy days!
Cleocat. It's bad of me too post photos of her so much but when I'm lazy, it's the easiest thing to take a photo of because she lays on the floor and sleeps a lot so it's ideal. This one is quite sweet though, I like it..
(Although, I have felt a bit stressy this week, a bit meaning a lot with one thing or another so yeah)
More food. I didn't intend to take so many food photos. I had really high hopes for this and it turned out really lovely, smelt like custard so I thought 'great! I'll put some icing on it and have it with custard'
Unfortunately, we didn't have any custard and the cake was quite heavy, not fluffy and spongey like a normal sponge cake. All I could taste was custard too and it just reminded me that I didn't have custard to go with it!
The birds loved it though.
This is a lion by dad found, and it's so cute! It's wearing a little football strip for holland so we've nicknames him Jan after Jan Veenagoor of Hesselink! Plus i'm supporting them for Euro 08.
They have to win now, the lion will bring them luck!
Not just one photo but 44 of them! After some thought, I decided Scrapbooking doesn't really hold my interest anymore, not right now. It's stupidly expensive, you always need to keep buying supplies, so many people do it and buy stuff as a competition against each other, I was never really happy with what I made and it takes up space and makes a mess. So I took a photo of everything I have to put on ebay in a job lot. I don't know if it will do well, I don't want to sell it for too a cheap price because i've spent out lots on it. Louise really wants a Canon SLR so I', hoping it sells for something so I can put money towards one. We'll see what happens.
More books! But they were really cheap because I got them from a charity shop. I never buy photos from a big book shop or anything when you can get such great books from Charity shops and the money goes to charity. One book, hasn't even been read and two I really wanted so I was such a happy bunny when I saw them!
More food! We had a bbq for my dad's birthday. My sister and her other half came over, and it didn't rain like the weather said it was so it was a nice afternoon. Had lots of food (too many pringles) and this raspberry tart was tasty stuff with a bit of cream. It was a nice day.
More food! Made these for my dad's birthday (diabetic = can't eat cake) The top photo is weetabix cake and it was actually really yummy! tasted like bread pudding, and the bottom, as cheese, tomato and mustard scones :]
This has to be my favourite photo of Pickle so far as I've been wanting to take some of him in the sandbath since I got him. He was happily sitting there for ages and I ran upstairs to get the camera and he was still there when I came back, and didn't mind the camera getting close up for a picture. I got a few different ones. I want to squeeze him!!
A bag I bought online thing. It's pretty cool (even if I'm not so keen on pink - I could turn it around) but unfortunately the person I bought it from must be a heavy smoker as it reeked of smoke :( I'm leaving it too hang out in the hope the smell will go..
This is funny.. In Aldi, they do a cream which apparently is amazing for wrinkles, better than the really expensive ones and I was in Aldi, and I saw these creams and in 2 minutes, 3 people took one each off the shelf and I thought 'Right I'm having one too!' so I'm giving it a go. I went on ebay and they were going for a little more than in the shop, and I seriously considered going back and buying a bunch and trying to make a profit but you just know something would go wrong while doing it and I couldn't think of a way to send them. I think it would have been worth doing when they weren't avaliable anywhere, but I think they are in the shops more now.
A new book. I've started reading one of Jodi Picoult's books and I saw this in tesco for a pretty cheap price, so I bought it! It looks like a good read. I'm trying to get back into reading a little more..
I made this today and it was soo soo tasty! I have a new favourite dinner, I love aubergines, which is good as I normally hate veggies :]
