18th May

A pretty new plant in my room

since I killed the last one. I thought watering was helping it until my mum told me she'd been watering it too. oops.

(I only just realised I can do tiny text!)

The cakes are what I made, lemon drizzle cakes which demonstrate that I can make a cake but I'm no good at decorating them. When I was little, I wanted to be a cake decorater because we had this cake book with all these different birthday cakes in and I read it a lot. My cakes show that I did the right thing by not choosing that path.

The Aubergine and tomato bake I'm so going to make next week, I'm sadly excited by that thought. I love Aubergine I do.

16th May

My poor melting laptop! I hibernated it but it didn't actually hibernate so it kept running and must have got really hot because when I lifted the screen back up, I noticed this gooey dent forming near the keyboard bit :/ Never thought it would cause that reaction! I've done the same thing a few times (no idea why it doesn't work sometimes)

Anyway, I put the fan on it and turned it off and it hasn't done it anymore, but still, I hope it doesn't break, I love my larry the laptopn :(

15th May

Get me and my reading 2 books at one time. Ok so it just is a Peter Kay book but still. It's really funny and i'm only about a fifth of the way through, I'd recommend it, even if it's just for one of the photos in the middle of the book. which I keep looking at and laughing! I'm easily pleased I guess.

A silly bet = a quiet phone and a bit of a pouty louise for 40 whole hours!

Oat cereal bars which tasted like shite! I give up on trying to make healthy alternatives to food because they are all turning out rubbish :( So I will eat all bad food but just not so often, yay!!

10th May

Momomo, from this morning cleaning her cage out. She's the sweetest little thing, she's so alert when you call her name - she stands up and puts her feet up to have a listen.

9th May

Another cat photo, well it's more a 'spot the cat' photo (I've not been well this week and now have a streaming cold so I didn't have that much enthusiam when taking photos)

7th May

A cute cleo sleeping. It's been hot here this week, not boiling but pretty warm for May and Cleo hates hot weather, she never knows what to do or where to sit especially as she loves sleeping on the tv and hot weather = no tv sleeping, so she sleeps on there for 10 minutes and then has to get back down, and repeat all day. So at night she makes up for lost snoozing time.

6th May

A new book as I finished the last one. I've heard good things baout this book and it's got nearly 300 great reviews on amazon so I bought a copy from Ebay. It's about a girl who has cancer and her parents have another baby so that blood/cells can be taken from the baby to help cure the older sister. When the baby is 13 she sues her parents for using her body without her permission.

I can;t wait to give it a read :]

5th May

A new hair colour, it hasn't really come out how I wanted it too, it was supposed to be more redder but I think that's because my hair is dark so it turned out different? I don't know. It looks different in different lights, better in natural light and not taken under a lightbulb in the bathroom :D

It left my hair feeling very lovely and conditioned though so that's a bonus anyway

4th May

I finished my book. I was half way through and then took it into the bath for a little read and read 200 pages+ and finished it! Was a good read though, not amazing or anything but ok. I knew most the middle of the story as it was written online. Don't think i'll buy the second one at full price though as it's all been online and then they take it offline just at the end so you go and buy the book. Takes the piss really.
