29th March

Took me way too long to put this frame up (the one of the right) I brought and painted it a while ago, weeks and weeks. I want to paint the other one the same colour though but it was brought in the colour that it is (the one of the right was just wood, not painted) I'm not sure if I could. I could sand it.. I think it would look nicer if they were the same colour.. We'll seeee.

A sad day and it rained all morning until it was probably over, and then the sun came out, and it was glorious for the rest of the day. The same thing happened with my grandad.

27th March

Oooh I hope no family members read this (I'm 99.7% sure they don't.. hopefully!) as this is a present for someone. I saw it and it's a bit wacky but I think the person will like it!

26th March

Pickle again, I thought i'd do a photo a week of him or something. I need to try and get some better photos though, but more up close. I hate shoving a camera in his face though, with a flash on as it's too bright but without it, the pictures a complete blur. Hmm.

25th March

Yummy chocolates! Because i'm a winner :D From lovely thorntons, I have this egg (which has the tastiest toffee chocolate ever) and 3 bags of toffee and not pictured is a box of smaller eggs which include champayne, double chocolate, praline, and caramel. I shared it with the other deserved winner, so there are now two chocolate filled happy campers.

24th March

Believe it or not, it snowed this Easter. No jumping lambies or spring chickens this year, just some snow (which was pretty measley in london and it washed away and didn't really settle) Boo to that!

23rd March

Easter isn't the same if it doesn't involve chocolate easter baskets with mini eggs on top. Unfortunately, I only had one bar of chocolate which made all of 3 easter baskets, and I used cereal which i think might have gone a bit stale so they were hard. I should have just eaten the chocolate bar and mini eggs on their own!

22nd March

Where I spent most of the weekend and Monday too. I think I caught a bit of the flu from my Dad and then it went into a sore throat.. I haven't been for a really long time and then I get ill and I realise how much I hate being ill. I need pick and mix when ill, and I didn't have any which made it worse! *pout*

What my week has consisted of and nothing else really. I needed to catch up on work so I put my mind to it last week so to finish the units I needed to do to do the next assisngment, and I started that this week. Hopefully I can finish the majority of it before easter so that I can enjoy my birthday and then get onto the last assignment after that.

So far it's all going to plan!

He's a funny little thing though. He's bit shy a bit more lately, but he's been out in the cage more and more, 3 hours one day! so in that respect, he seems a happy hamster.

He's even been sitting under the wheel and nodding off a little bit. His eyes start to shut and then he hears a noise and wakes up, so he must be settling in ok.

13th March

I love love love pink wafers, I have a certain way of eating them. Kinda like a kitkat but these are pink panther ones, which make them way cooler!

Big hailstones! Ok now that big but they are bigger than the size of a pea and would hurt my head. I thought it was snow but no such luck!

I want some snow for once!

Look at me being all green and helping the environment. The other day we went to tesco and noticed they have a plastic collection thing (I think you get green points for recycling all different things) so we've started recycling plastic. It's pretty amazing actually at what would have normally been thrown away in a single week

Pickle ball! I love this photo. I put him in the ball properly for the first time and I put towels all around the room so he wouldn't bump into anything and frighten himself. He loved it though, he runs like crazy!

I don't leave him in there very long, I just want him to get used to being in it. This is him stopping for a minute to eat some food, super cute.

A pretty daffodil. I love these flowers, makes me think of spring and easter, which is pretty near actually!

Some better pickle photos. He's much more socialable now. Even went in his ball while I was cleaning him out although I think he got a little freaked out because he just stopped moving so my mum held the ball, and he washed himself and started to doze off!

There will probably be a few hamster photos for a while now, he's just so sweet though. He seems to be settling in better and better each day. On Sat and Sun he just came out for a few minutes to get food, and then went back to bed but on Monday he was running around for abour 45 minutes and then kept popping in and out of his bed for the rest of the night. He's so friendly, where ever I put my finger, he goes towards it, sniffs it and then runs around a bit. He won't let me actually pick him up yet though but i'm working on it!

2nd March

Evil flowers. To try and cut a long story short - found a deal to get flowers delivered for Mothers Day for a fiver using discount codes, thought I better not incase it goes wrong, cancelled 4 days before and lo and behold, they were still delivered. Called the company and said they had been delivered and what to do with them. Lady spoke to her manager and she said to keep them for free because by the time they got sent back to them, they'd be dead.

Which is nice, so we opened them and found this. They look ok but the bunch of flowers is so small and a few were dead. Originally they would be 23.50, for those flowers, which you could buy cheaper down tesco for 4pounds.

I'm not having a go at free flowers but i'm so so glad I didn't get them for my mum for mothers day, i'd be so embarrased!

1st March

Weee! We finally have the new hamster. We went to pick him up on Saturday morning (very very early!) but at least we didn't have to wait around all day.

He's so adorable and tiny! I was right about him being reaaaally tiny. It doesn't really show in the photos. He has the biggest eyes though so so far, is very timid and shy but I think he just needs a few days to settle in and get used to new surroundings.

We were going to call him Max first, but it seems to butch for the little thing, so we decided on pickle :]
