Well the plan was to buy my Mum tulips for Mothers Day because they had a great deal on them in Tesco, and then last night she saw th advert on tv and said 'ooh I'll get your dad to get some of them tomorrow'

...

Ruined my plan! I got some of them though as there were 30 of them but hmm, I need to think of something now. Probably get a plant of something as they last a little longer (:

I love Lush but this has to be the loveliest smellies ever made! The name is cute, smells so sweet (Raspberry Kiss is my favourite) and it has the cutest messages on the front of their products.

Only can get it in tesco though..

27th February

Mothers day is on Sunday so I went out and bought a few bits and bobs - sweets, candle, smellies, a little keyring and i'm hoping to buy a plant/flowers Saturday morning if we get out early enough. If not, we'll have to quickly go after we pick up the hamster.

I bought a card a few weeks ago but didn't pick up an enverlope because I forgot, so I quickly made one. Makes it a little more personal.

On Saturday, i'm hopinh to make some cream slices and eccles cakes, something a bit different than just cupcakes..

26th February

This is a sandbath which are good for dwarf hamsters because you put sand in it and they roll around in it and it cleans their coats. Apparently not needed for a Syrian..

Anyway, it's teeny tiny! I wish I put something next too it show the size of it. Quite scary how small this dwarf hamster will be, exciting though!

Another lush purchase. It's a cleanser that is supposed to be good for my skin so fingers crossed it works. If it doesn't, then i'm n0t buying anymore hair or skin stuff from lush as it's super expensive to buy it and then find out it doesn't really work great (like my shampoo puck thing) I love love the smell soaps though!

I tried it and then put the cream sample they gave me on (apparently it drys out your skin a little and they recommend you use a cream after) and it's still a bit greasy, so I think I'll try it without cream for a while.

Origami bunny! I had to blow in it too inflate it, I felt weird doing that.

21st February

A new hamster cage. Not for Mo but (hopefully) for a new hamster. I was browsing a hamster forum as I do now and again and to cut a long story short, there is an animal rescue centre with a baby chinese dwarf hamster that was dumped at a vets with his brother and fingers crossed he will be living in that <<< soon :D

I'm excited but a bit nervous as dwarf hamsters are teeny tiny

I brought a frame from Ikea on Friday, to match the one I already have but they only had a wood one (Well they had my one but only in bring yellow and green, where as I wanted a baby blue colour, and the wood colour)

So I spent much of Saturday afternoon painting it up and putting the picture from the silver frame on my wall..

Not too shabby for 2.99!

And if the powercuts again, for the 4th time I will hit something!

Chocolate *licks screen* Not for me though unfortunately but we were out on Friday, were in tesco and thought I might aswell get them while I was out and there was loads. Nearly Easter there's always just the rubbish ones left. My mum gets the harribo one as she doesn't want much chocolate, I thought it was cool and would make Jesus proud.. ahem

My photos this week are pretty shite, but I haven't had chance to take photos too much :|

I finished my book this week and in pretty good time really, as it took me about 6 weeks of on off reading. It was a good book, but the ending was a bit predictable. I knew what was going to happen 3/4s of the way in..

10th February

I was putting a new lip balm in my bag, my camera was handy so tada a photo of the contents of my bag. We have keys, purse (only a little one as a bigger one wouldn't fit in and I rarely have cards with me) comb, girls things tin (handy, pretty and stops embarrasing situations when you pull your purse out and something else falls out) phone sock, lip balm, spray deodrant, pen, lip gloss, tissues :]

The only thing missing is my phone, oh and camera which I've taken out with me the past few times out, but I was kinda using that.

9th February

Lush goodies. We went to Windsor on Wednesday and they had a lush shop (I've never been in one before although I love it) I didn't buy anything because I was overwhelmed by the choice of everything. Anyway, I came home and read up online and found out they were selling off Christmas stuff in the stores in grab bags, so we called Windsor and they had some of these bags left, the 5 pound ones.

So we took a trip back to Windsor, on Friday and I got my goodie bag, a jumping juniper shampoo bar thing and some free samples for skincare :] I got 3 lovelt soaps and a bath bomb in the bag, which i'm chuffed with as Lush can be very expensive but I got 16pounds worth of stuff for a fiver, so I think I will do that each christmas and stock up for the year or something. I totally forgot the the thing I actually wanted to get too, a cleanser, which i'm pissy about.

8th February

My little bargain. I will probably still want to get a little tripod (I have my eye on the joby gorillapod which i've seen on the amazon) but this will do for now and it cost just one pound!

It's a bit flimsy and if you tilt the camera forward, it has a tendancy to fall forward so i'm going to use it safely but it's alright for the time being I think :]

7th February

A more recently photo of the toe (plkus with my chipped nail varnish - nail varnish refuses to stay on my nails, I don't know why but it literally just peels right off)

It's healing up nicely, still a bit swollen under the cut, but the weirdest thing is that it keeps going numb, especially after exercise. Maybe it will wear off after a while though, but it's a weird feeling.

6th February

Went to Windsor on Wednesday afternoon, a nice break away from madness. I wanted to try out my camera (finally) and it was a nice sunny blue day too.

I think I did ok. At first I felt a little humpf about the results, but looking back, I'm actually happy with them. It's difficult going back to a place where you've taken photos before, and try and top them. I'm happy now though. I got some great ones of my parents too, and we went for a pretty long walk into town, and I discovered a lush shop but more about that in a few days.

On the way back to went for dinner, and I have salmon, chips and lovely yummy harvester salad. Probably the nicest meal i've personally had there :)

5th February

This is a flower I got for Christmas and you grow it in the bag, which is pretty cool. I planted the seeds but so far nothing has happened. I hoope it grows because I don't think they are especially cheap and I'd feel bad if it didn't grow :|

My finished drawers from Ikea :) I'm pleased with it, accept that drawers are a bit wonky but I don't know how to make that go away. It's not my fault so i'll leave with it.

Looks pretty on my desk though, and holds bits and bobs - scissors, glue, tools, chipboard. I used Scenic Route papers which are so pretty!

The little jars are from Ikea too.

Somethings I made today. Cheese and mustard scones and the other things are raisen ant oatmeal cookies, they were originally made with chocolate in but I left that out as the recipe was from a diabetic recipe and I thought wouldn't chocolate add loads of sugar into it? Very nice though, the mixture was lovely to eat out the bowl too!

Also made a banana bread loaf which is cooking at the moment

Ikea drawers! The first is how they were at the start and the second is after I painted the outside and put it and all the drawers together. It's quite sad but I'm very proud because I'm not normally allowed to build anything, someone else does and then it becomes a rush to do it under an hour or something, and it's no fun. I made these all myself and I'm all proud :]

Went to Ikea to get jars to put scrapbook bits and bobs in but ended up getting a few other things too (Ikea is bad like that, it sucks you in to buy some you probably don't need)

Anyway, I got a jar, 4 mini ones which are super cute, a little storage box thing that I have to build, tea lights and other things.. Oh yeah scissors. Always need scissors! Oh! And a new rug for my room, it's pretty big but at least it hides the nasty blue carpet that doesn't suit my room anymore.
