28th January
Some cards and gift cards I made on Sunday afternoon while I had some time alone. I got a qvc kit for christmas and there is so much in it, I think it's something like 8000 bits and pieces so I kinda kept putting off getting it all out because I wouldn't know where to start, but it's got some great things in it! especially the chipboard - lots of flowers, circles and alphabets.
I'm pleased with what I made :)

An ouchie louise foot. I was getting ready to use my rowing machine on saturday night, tying my hair up and didn't see the portable radiator infront of me, and I kicked it. It doesn't look massively painful but it hurt so much and I cried like a baby. For ages.
I'm a wimp (:

Testing on the zoom on my camera. This is the park way over the road and the kiddiepark is quite far back in the park, so i'm really impressed by it. The zoom on my S9600 is really good but I haven't used it like I thought I would, I like the zoom though so I thought if the canon could match it, then i'd sell the S9600.
It did so it also went on ebay, everything of mine seems to be going on ebay these days! But it's better than it sitting there gathering dust, you know and I got lots for it, so happy louise!

New weights. They don't weigh a great deal, but the ones I had before were 0.5, 1 and 1.5kg so it's a step up from those :) and my arms ache after using them so they must work!
The others went on ebay.

Look at me keeping up with this blog malarky, only took me a year and I'll probably go back to being crap at it next week! Anyway, I leave you with cleo taken with my lovely new camera, which I love, immensely

I put my camera on ebay. I'm half and half with my thinking on keeping it. I like it but i've really only used it twice and it seems like a waste of mney to let it sit there doing nothing, especially now I have the new camera, which I really love.
So I thought i'd put it on ebay and see what interest it got. I'm not getting my hopes up, just seeing how it ges for the rest of the week, it ends on Sunday.

My new wallpaper! It's on just one wall, a feature wall as it's called and the picture I don't think does do it total justice (nore does a dull grey day, where is the sunshine!?)
It's really pretty though, and quite feminine, which is nice because my favourite colour is blue and through the years i've always got blue things so it tended to look quite manish.
my table and craft things are infront of it so it's my little crafty/work/laptop area :]
I'm pleased with it.

Didn't really come out how I wanted too. I always find that if you take photos of flowers, all of the same colour, it never looks right..

One of the presents the lovely boyfriend brought me for christmas. I took a picture of the box the other day soon after christmas but this is actually it
(It's also because I want to see a picture of the camera I brought him, so now he has too)
I was putting some photos and changing videos to the format needed so they would play on it.
Must give it a clean though, my fingers prints are all over it! :|

Painting my room. Not anything different, but the paint before was matt (which we didn't realise at the time) and it felt chalky and went dull.
So this paint is brighter, mineral mist I think was the name and it's silky and shiny

My now mounted on the wall tv and dvd. It's not the most attractive contraption on the world, but it does what it says on the can and now the tv unit has been chucked
=
more space to turn the room into a gym!
(This might be big brother on the tv but I wasn't watching it, it's shite this year)

A few photos from my new camera. This first is showing one of the features, which I know can be done on photoshop but I'm rubbish with PS. You can focus on something and that stays the same colour but everything else goes black and white, which is pretty cool. And the second is just a photo, but I liked the quality and the lighting was good :) I'm excited to use it, I feel I haven't even touched on what it can do!

New camera! Finally arrived today, I was very inpatient waiting for this as I didn't realise free delivery would mean it would take 10 days to get too me. Ah well it's here now.
So far, I'm very very impressed with it. It does lots of things my old one doesn't do, the screen is crystal clear and I little bigger than the last one I think. It's also smaller and less chunky and the quality is amazing, better than my last one. The zoom is also outstanding, better than my old one and even my fuji.
I need to go out and about and test it out with a blue sky somewhere. It hasn't helped that it's been grey and rainy since the start of the year, but hopefully some shine will shine soon.

My new rowing machine, which I couldn't get excited about after the hassle of it not getting delivered on the right day (Thanks Shitty Link.)
Only cost 35pounds though and I can now switch between that and the liptickle so I don't get bored of using the one machine, which I have a been experiencing a little with the liptickle. It's good too mix it up.

Tv Bracket. To put my tv on the wall.
I should have also made a resolution that aswell as continiuing this (which is one resolution I hope to stick too) That I also make the photos a little more interesting.. I just don't have the 'spark' to do much at the moment. There's always the rest of the year though.

I ordered this the day after Christmas I think and it finally turned up today. Full of obscencenities (sp) and things that I now after watching it for a bit can understand why they can't be broadcasted, from Frankie Boyle especially.
Lots of fun.

I brought a 'make your own bouncy ball kit.' I have a weird love for balls that bounce and I thought this was one of those where you use chemicals to grow one (I'd like of those) So I was very dissapointed when I opened the box and found 500 rubber bands.
And I made it wrong because I couldn't make it a ball shape. Balls.
If anyone needs a rubber band, I have 500 spare.

When we went out yesterday, we had a browse around Homebase and I saw this super pretty wallpaper. Pretty expensive for a roll at 15 for a roll (I think that's expensive) but it's one of those feature wall typa papers so I'd only need one roll hopefully. We shall see though.
It'll look lovely in my room I think :]

I got a orgami calender thing for Christmas - So a different orgami for everyday of the year, fun fun times right. This is a fox but it could be about 10 other animals, I wonder if it will be repeated through-out and called something else..

December 31st
The last day of 2007! Where did it go! I spent much of the afternoon baking these lovelys. My dad got some fruit raisens soaked in rum from tesco half price so I made some scones with them, mince pies and then a big pie to have with custard. They were so strong that even I couldn't eat much of them (I did have a good try though! and had a bit of each of them!)
So that's 2007 over and done with. I've managed a whole year of doing my little blog and really enjoyed doing it. I think i've only missed a few days all together and although some of the photos may seem boring to some, they meant something to me and that is what is the most important :] I debated whether to carry this on but I think I will but only if I don't leave it in long stints to update. To do 3 weeks at once gives a headache :/ so I guess I can make that a resolution - update it once a week at the moment. Plus I will hopefully have a brand spakin new camera in a few days and it's a way to use my cameras everyday and not just let them sit there.
Goodbye 2007! See you in 2008!

I'm selling some bits and bobs for someone on ebay and I get to keep the profits! I thought ok there are 3 items, so i'll say 2 or 3 pounds for each item but they are currently going for 19.60 for the 3 items! I'm shocked really but they are worth a lot more than others because they have the tags and were never worn. Makes me want to have a scout round my wardrobe and see what I can find. I still need to put one more thing on but I need a better photo of it.

A few more presents and that's it. The first is a bracelet my sisters boyfriends sister made for and I love it!! It's funny because If I saw it in a shop or online anywhere I would buy it, so I told her that. I just hope it doesn't tarnish or anything..
The second is a origami calender, everyday you get a new orgami to make and there are 365. Obviously no good for writing down birthdays on it as it could be made into a box or something and you'd forget. Very cool though.
The third makes me smile. When you put it near your phone and you get a text or call, it spins round and lights up. It's very cute but does constantly go off if you are around a lot of people as I found out when Sale shopping the other week. I must have been flashing to everyone all round the shops! :O

A presents from my Mum and Dad, which I knew about but hey ho! It contains a wealth of scrapping supplies - paper, more chipboard than i've ever seen, alphabets, cards, an album, three mini albums, brads, tags.. I really want to get stuck in too it but I have to be in that frame of mind and I'm not there right yet but maybe I will have a play with it all at the weekend!

This is my now old camera. I found the camera I've been lusting after on amazon for 169.99 reduced from 329.99 and my eyes fell out my head. So I thought out of curiousity I will put my old camera on ebay and see how much it would get and by the end it sold for 87! which i'm pleased about and adding together all the monies I made from selling my stereo and money from Christmas, I purchased the new one :] The person I sold it too sounds like a walking advert for how to be a good ebayer should be so I'm crossing everything that it continues to go well, that the cheque reaches me in the next few days as he's posted it already, cashes, and then I can send it off to him and play with my new one with is due to arrive from the 7th - 11th.

Christmas Day! Came around super fast. I had a really lovely day. It was me, mum and dad in the morning and most the afternoon. We opened presents in the morning, and had dinner around 2ish and then headed to my sisters at 3.30, where we opened more presents with her, boyfriend and his sister, had something to eat (including a rather lovely banffi pie!) and played an intense game of scrabble, which I never won.
I got some amazing presents, my Mum and Dad got me a DAB radio, which I knew about but that didn't matter and lots of other bits of bobs - smellies, money, chocolate, pen drive, books, socks. I had vouchers from family which are always handy! and from my sister a bag, paper trimmer, funky dressing gown, mug, bubble bath and mobile keyring thing.
It was a happy fun day and nice to spend time with everyone. I have more photos but too many too post in on post. The one in the kitchen makes me laugh because they were all intensely watching the kettle boil, because it was new. You had to be there!.

December 24th Part Deux
I wanted to make fudge for my Aunt for Christmas but it turned out a sticky mess. No idea what I did wrong but it was more like glue than the crumbly fudge it was intended to be. So I made these very quickly and made it look like a sort of biscuit tree, wrapped them up and attached hand made tags. Next year i;m going to go for something a bit more fancy, maybe shortbread or cake, half dipped in chocolate :]

My amazing presents from Al! He got me scrapbook things, lovely smelling lush stuff, which I could smell before I even opened the wrapping and possibly the best gadget i've ever seen (I do like gadgets) A PVR, which you can put music, photos, videos on and see them on the screen but even better than that, you can tape programmes from the TV on it! So no more missing stuff because I can't get too the tv and I can put a few favourites from SKY+ on it too
:D! I'm a lucky bunny. I gave Al presents and half of me was worried and half really excited to know his reaction to them and I think I did good. He always is the king of presents and gets it spot on but I think I caught up with him this year :p

Miracle on 34th Street has to be the ultimate Christmas film (Other than Elf which I watched twice in December and is great! Oh and Love Actually, perfect for Christmas and making you feel allll warm inside). Anyway, I watched it while wrapping the huge haul of presents I brought this year. Took all day too do them. I should have took a photo of all of them really, silly me.

I always think that if you have a certain food eg chocolate cake that contains lots of sugar, fat and calorie badness and there is a healthy alternative, eg like weight watchers pudding which is still cake but contains less of the badness, then it makes sense to eat the healthy option right?
So my new discovery is cadburys highlights hot chocolate which taste just as, if not more, chocolatey that any hot chocolate i've had in the past and has only 40 calories. Amazing yes? And they do a fudge one, which is divine!
That's the lesson of the day *nod*

The front of a book I made for my sister's boyfriends sister who is visiting over from NZ. I thought it would be a good idea because then she could put some of her photos in it of Christmas in London. I think I could have done a lot better but I had to contend with having very little time and a printer that wouldn't print on card so I had to do the lettering on white, which i'm not so fond of :(
