18th December
So the laptop is actually completely dead. The next step of action is to write to Acer and tell them in a very pouty way that im not happy (Surely laptops dont just melt like that, it could have caught fire or something) But ill leave it until after christmas..

These are supposed to be tree biscuits that look like christmas wreaths but I think i've failed in my mission to make them look good. The stars came out better but I didn't get a photo of those.

I love different teas now, especially fennel and green teas, but I have quite a few and they take up space. But I got this from lidls and its perfect! Stores hundreds of teas, withou nasty boxes taking up cupboard space. Happy days!
(I was sadly really excited about this. I love it)

Normally people get advent calenders on the 1st, but I didn't get one *sniff* so I bought one half price today.
And that also meant that I had 8 days to catch up on!
Clever me!

I bought this nougat for my mum just to see what it was like (We're on the hunt for the kind of nougat you could get at the seaside. Different flavours covered sometimes in chocolate) Anyway, this was on a website and I ordered some and she loved it!
So I've bought some more for christmas, aswell as some diabetic sweets for my dad and I just happened to buy a few things for me too!

The Christmas tree went up today. One of my favourite parts of christmas is getting the tree out and putting the decorations on it :) It has that christmas smell.
I'm a kid at heart still at this time of year.

This makes me feel christmassy! Homemade mince meat for mince pies. I can't stand shop bought ones. They are either too dry, too sweet, too much pastry. Homemade ones are winners!

Selling some things for the neighbour again, but nothing really sold except for this coat. I guess that's the credit crunch for you I've kept the rest of the stuff to many try in the new year!

28th November
A cake I made for my little cousins 6th birthday. Apparently she'd seen one in a cake shop and everytime she went shopping, she wanted to go and look at the cake. So my aunt asked if I could make one, which we did and it turned out great!
It's a sponge square base covered in green butter cream to look like grass, decorated with little flowers. The dress is made from sponge cooked in a basin type dish, covered in apricot jam and rolling icing. I pipped all the pink bits (which i've never done before)
The doll is cut in half, well the lefts popped off quite easily and the bodice was made usign rolling icing, although i've just noticed her right boob is lower than the left! It was a boob job went wrong.
Cool though. half the price of a shop one and she loved it :)

Oh they came out the wrong way round. The bottom photo is when the lens is at 55, the top is when it's at 250 :) I didn't test it out much further than that, as I want to leave that until Christmas but it works :)

Eeee! lens! This is what santa is kindly bringing me for Christmas. It took a bit of searching to find it. I planned to get it from a shop in London and the day I went to order it, it was out of stock. We called them and apparently its a popular selling lens and they sell fast.
And they sell fast everywhere else because I couldn't find anywhere else that had stock. I eventually did, it was ordered and here it is. Happy days!

Mmm apple pie. I do make a good apple pie. I don't understand how people buy shop bought pies and things when homemade ones are so much more tasty. I even did a little decoration on it and everything.

Awwww I love my scarf! I've always wanted one and they are sold everywhere but I wanted a certain type, one like from accessorize but they are normall 15pounds. This I spotted on ebay, after much looking and it only cost 4pounds, and it's keeping me toasty warm this winter :D

These aren't the decorations for the tree that I meant, but they were cheap in tesco so they should look cute on my christmas tree :)

I got a little tree for my room last year but I thought I'd get a bigger one because they aren't too expensive. This one was just 3pounds from B&Q (although I probably could have got one for cheaper if I waited) and I've seen the decorations in their I like and the tinsel yay!

I'm not actually half way through this book, I actually finished it. It was really good. Dorothy Koomson is a good author and I'd like to get the rest of her books :) I may have to pay a visit to the chairty bookshop and have a look for some.

This makes me smile :) My grandad bought me this ring for Christmas was I was younger, maybe 10 or 11 years old? I could have been younger even. I had forget about it but I was looking through one of my mum's jewellery boxes and I found it.
Crazy thing is that it still fits, it might actually be a little too big so I either had really large hands for a child or I have tiny hands as an adult.

Aww Narnia. I remember watching this when I was a kid and my sister bought me the videos for it a few years ago, but they must have got taken to the charity shop because I have no clue where they are. Anyway, this dvd for it came free in the paper! So I got to watch it again :D

Glamour magazine was doing another one of their specials - Last time they had a free benefit lipgloss on the front of their magazines. This time they had nails inc nail varnishes, which are about 11.50 each or something crazy. I managed too get 3 of the colours, so that's 6pounds instead of 35ish! They actually did have the other colour too, but I felt bad buying all 4!

Eek this picture looks awful on here :( or just awful in general? It's lemon meringue pie and it was pretty deliciious, well the topping was. The base bit could have pulled your teeth out.

My laptop has died so I'm having to use the other one to update my blog and things. I can't tell if the photos are too dark and too light as the screen is really different from mine, not too clear either but it's all I have at the moment so.
We went to see Russell Howard, it was so funny! There was chaos getting there, but anyway, less on that. It was so funny, my cheeks hurt the next day from laughing!

I went shopping on my own to have a proper look around the shops for Christmas ideas. I spent 6 hours out, bought quite a few things, carried the heaviest of bags (my back and legs killed the next day) But one thing I did buy was a pedometer, which i'm not sure if it will actually work because it wasn't expensive but we'll see :]

Watching Lewis Hamiltons final race which he needed to get a certain amount of points to win the title (it was more complicated than that but I can't explain it!) It was such a tense race, and he won it on the last corner on the last lap!! My heart was pumping! But i'm so happy for him :D
