July 27th
I tried to test out the shutter speed on my camera using water and did the fastest to slowest in a serious of photos and they looked all the same to me :/ I have to remember it just takes practice and i think learning appeture is more important anyway.
I thought this photo was cool though. It's all mystical and ghostly!

This sunflower was kinda facing down and I didn't fancy bending down underneath to get a photo because of all the bugs so you get half a sunflower but I actually like it better like this!
I forgot though that the view thing pulls out so you have no need to bend down on the floor to take photos, it pulls out so you can take photos at any angle. Need to remember that in the future!

When I brought my camera, I had to wait for the memory card, filter and other stuff too come so it was sitting there for the whole weekend looking at me and saying 'play with me' Anyway, I went to the dentist on Tuesday and took some photos in the garden when I was home (and all hurt and blooded) This is my favourite, I like how the light hits the petals and how you can see all the details
Not bad for a first go I think?

Blue skies. I normally hate summer but there hasn't actually been any sun this year accept a few days here and there but I'd like some sun for a week maybe just so there might be a chance of some blue sky and sunset pictures with my new camera. A grey look everyday does get a little boring after a while.

This is the present we put together for my cousins 18th birthday. It includes a bracelet she wanted (which I loved myself) little happy birthday teddy, a card made by my fair hands, and some star confetti, tied together with pink ribbon and a happy balloon was attached.

Oooh! This is bracelet that I wanted to get from
Argos (also helped it was half price) but none of the ones where I lived did it, but they did in Newcastle. So Al picked it up for me but he wouldn't let me pay for it, which i'm super greatful for but I will get him back in some way
Maybe with free dvds or something?
I love it though :] It hasn't left my wrist yet and I can take him everywhere now.

My new toy :D I sold my guitar for 60 which was a bit crap really but I said if I could sell my wii for quite a bit, I would invest it in a new camera. I've always wanted a camera up more than just a point and shot and digital slr seemed a good idea. My wii sold for 199, which I was so shocked about, so I brought a Fuji FinePix S9600. Isn't it sexy?
I do feel very guilty still. Like I should have used the money in a better way but I know i'll get a lot of use out of it. I mean i've used my other camera so much in 18 months, I've taken nearly 6000 photos, and this one should last years and years. And it's 9 megapixels!
I'm just trying to learn about appetures and shutter speeds, which i'm starting to get the hang off but I think it will take a while to get the hang off it.

My thing of 'no more taking pictures of the cat' didn't seem to last. Hey ho. But hey it's the first picture in black and white.. I should really learn how to use photoshop, i've had different cersions on my computer for years and years and it could help pictures look better but I never seem to understand what stuff means.
I can cope with 'black and white' though and maybe 'sepia' at a push!

Some flowers I put on the marketplace on the forum I go on, I thought I could raise a few more pennies towards my camera fund. The flowers sold pretty quick and the minibooks I put up had interest too from 2 people at the same time. I offered them too one person who said she'd have them and could I send them by friday, so I was going to pay for first class p+p instead of second (they are heavy and I included postage in the price) and put flowers in for free. I was wating for a payment for all last night and this morning and was just sent a message saying she's changed her mind. It's just plain rude, I will avoid her in the future. So now I don't know if the other person even wants them because i've taken so long to get too her, I've sent a message but not had a reply as of yet.

This is a heart rate watch that I got on ebay. It only cost 13.89 although it has a tag on it that says 49.99, I though 'yeah right' but I looked online and it's 40 so go me!
It calcuates how long you're exercing, your heart rate and how many calories you've burned. Although it can sometimes be a little eratic. I did a 30 minute work out, which apparently burnt 168 calories and I tried it again and it said 300 and something :/
Funny thing is that i've yet to be charged for it and I did actually buy it on the 7th, maybe it's taking a long while to come out? I thought it normally did it instantly? Also i've noticed I took this photo on the 11th, not the 13th!

I don't get how to post double photos and make it look nice.. Hmm. The flowers on the left are what my Dad brought my Mum, the pink flowers are my all time favourites (in case any one reading wanted to know ahem) and the cupcakes were made by me! Apparently they tasted so lovely that I was asked to make another batch of them

It's my Mum and Dad's 30th birthday Anniversary today! 30 whole years which is crazy to think about and lovely too, because I know many couples don't stay together these days, so I count myself lucky that my parents have :] I got them a basket and filled it up with a few things that they like - nuts for my dad, sweets for my Mum and some mini bottles of wine. (All by just me!) Note the 'I survived 30 years badges' hand crafted by me. My Mum got my dad some Jack Daniels, he got her lovely flowers and chocolates. Even my neighbour got them some roses and a card, which I thought was lovely seeing as her family is going through a rough time at the moment.

I seem to have taken loads of pictures of the cat the past few weeks *shrugs* But hey, when you have a cute subject, you have too!
This is her on my aliptickle machine (I can never remember how it's said the proper way and my way is much cuter)
Ignore my crappy old trainers, they are my exercising ones that i've had for about (ahem) 6 years and yes, they probably do smell and yes, I should really buy a new pair.

Ah yeah, freeview. My Mum got it for her room, you get a few extra channels and it made the picture heaps better so i've now got one in my room. It has E4, music channels, News and so on but I am a bit gutted that it doesn't have Sky One like I first thought, so no watching Lost upstairs for me when it's back on next year!

I hate how tiny these 3set pictures come out! Anyway, this is a LO of when I was a wee one, I think it's super cute! And i'm currently completing a mission to use no blue or pink in layouts. This one is orange, last was red, and the next is going to be yellow and green to go with my yellow sunflowers.

This my new exercise machine! The idea is that I can get rid of the other ways that I exercise - mini cycle which is broken, wii and so on and exercise one main way.
I think I underestimated how hard it would be. First time I used it I managed about 2 minutes on it and I was struggling, i've managed to get up to 10 minutes now.
It squeeked like crazy though so it was quite off-putting but my dad has greased it up so hopefully that help. It's fun though and exercises everything pretty much, where as a bike would just do your legs.
It's much bigger than the picture shows though! It's hooge.

These makes me VERY happy! I got a parcel from the lovely Bec, I had no idea she sent me it and opened it too find 4 whole yummy packets of Tim Tams. They are without a doubt the best chocolate in the world, especially when you bite the ends off two opposite corners and then drink coffee through it and then eat it.
sdjkf;sd.
It tastes amazing, i'm in love with the sticky toffee vanilla ones especially. I want one now!

I've been taking photos for scrapbooking as i'm getting a bit stuck on what to scrapbook, and I thought I could do one about my most important possessions and these letters from my granddad would be one of them. We used to write to each other when he moved to Norfolk, so that's about 10 or so years ago and i'm so glad I kept them because they are nice to look back on. Brings back a lot of memories for me :]

I have no idea if this plant in my room is dead or alive. The leaves are green and look healthy, but the flowers have all died except one so in that respect it looks very deed. The flowers must not last very long I guess but that means my plant is just going to be leafy and that seems a bit rubbish? I don't want to grow leaves.. :/

Ah lip glosses. I used to have an addiction to them, I had a whole box for (not the biggest box but it held about 25) but I just threw most of them away because they were either nearly all gone or years old and I heard they aren't good for you if they are really old - An excuse to buy more I feel! I love them though and have mostly pinky colours, i'm sure most girls do actually.

My lovely lovely phone. I'm so glad I brought this phone in the end so I thought I would dedicate a whole post to it hah. Funny how all the phones these days do pretty much everything but I still pretty much use it just for texting and calling. I'm not sure what i'm rambling on about here.. um.

New supplies. Yeah because I really did need them (ahem) but I did get a bargain. The stamps I've wanted for ages so I decided to finally get them. The ribbons are just ones that i've used and ran out of and everything else was in a sale and it was so cheap! Oh and the little stamps are freebies because the people I ordered the stamps from sent the wrong ones the first time around :]
